Strengthening Global-Local Partnership in International Development:  Community-led Action Plan Development Project  at Kamalamai Municipality Ward-9, Sindhuli ( DreamCities ) in partnership with University College London (UCL) International Development Hub | Supported by HEIF Knowledge Exchange and Innovation Fund

This is the  collaborative effort  between Kamalamai Municipality Ward-9 in Sindhuli, Nepal,  UCL Engineering International Development Hub (ID Hub) at University College London (UCL) , StoryCycle and Nepal Flying Labs. 

This initiative aims to foster global-local partnerships in international development through community-led action  plan development & research, emphasizing collaboration between local communities and academic institutions.

The primary aim of this project is to understand the significance of global-local partnerships in international development through community-led action research in a Municipality By engaging people in a participatory approach.

Digitizing settlement areas through drone mapping and analyzing geographic information data for informed decision-making and citizen planning.

Creating a rich picture of a model village by understanding the needs and priorities of community members through community-led planning workshops.

Encouraging UCL students from diverse backgrounds at the International Development Hub to collaborate for solution development and project implementation by partnering with local government and youth organizations.

Supporting local government and youth organizations in planning, policy-making, and implementation through data-driven project development and solutions.
