Climate Justice
I am the Just Transition Lead at Recourse, where I work to end fossil fuel finance and drive a global just transition by holding International Financial Institutions (IFIs) accountable for their investments.
With over 15 years of experience in advocacy and campaignin for eco-social justice, I have led initiatives across the world and in Asia to make public finance work for people and the planet.
Previously, I served as Strategic Advisor at Oxfam Novib, leading multi-regional climate justice and just transition program strategies, and as Asia Regional Policy and Campaigns Coordinator for Oxfam International, where I developed and implemented regional advocacy and campaign plans focused on climate and inequality.
Before joining Oxfam, I was Regional Advisor for Climate and Resilience with Practical Action, leading advocacy programs with a focus on South Asia and the Least Developed Countries. Earlier, I headed the Nepal team for the Action on Climate Today (ACT) programme, supporting governments to integrate climate change into development planning and leverage climate finance.
My expertise spans program management, policy analysis, research, writing, movement building, climate diplomacy, advocacy, and campaigning with a commitment to advancing eco-social justice and inclusive public policy.
I hold an MSc in Environmental Management from Pokhara University and a BSc in Environmental Science from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
