Branding & Storyteller
I love listening to and telling stories. I collect, manage, and develop content for our editorial, creative, marketing, and fundraising teams.
Starting my career as a production engineer, I managed workforce at production facilities producing beer, cement, and instant noodles. After completing my Masters in Business Administration, I helped companies build better brands — from fast moving consumer goods manufacturers to banks and internet service providers.
I led campaigns that created big impacts — Climate for Life Campaign that helped raise awareness about the issues of climate impacts in the Himalayas, and TX2 campaign that helped treble the number of tigers in Nepal, at its initial phase.
I have helped non-governmental organisations and private companies develop their communications and knowledge management strategies, integrated marketing communication plans, and brand identity guidelines.
I have guided teams managing events, exhibitions, social media, digital marketing, content creation, corporate communications, media, and public relations.
I have authored and translated children’s storybooks into Nepali and Eastern Tharu languages. I am a regular contributor to Global Voices, an international, multilingual community of writers, translators, and human rights activists, and write blogs on communications, knowledge management, environment, travel, food, art, and culture.
I speak English, Spanish, Nepali, Hindi, Tharu, Maithili, Bhojpuri and Awadhi languages fluently and can converse in French, Esperanto, Bangla and Newari languages.
